A park that grows like a villageEen park dat groeit als een dorp
No two Nibble Parks are the same. In the middle there is always the fountain square, with the Travel Guh 'Knabbelpark' on the little island in the fountain. She belongs to the square: you can't pick her up and her name stays as it is. From the square, little walks wind over the hills, with hedges, flowers, guh lanterns, park benches and here and there a guh litter bin. Along the walks lie little spots: a flower meadow, a resting spot, a little wood, a big blossom tree.
What is always thereWat er altijd is
Three things are always attached to the square, so the Park Ranger Guh can always be helped: the statue garden with the statues of Joostvadsje and trapguh, Liekguh and Lunde, and Grandpa Cheeseguh (each with a plaque to read), the deer pen with three Fawnguhs and the Pen Keeper Guh, and the Park Ranger's little house.
Where do you find it?Waar vind je het?
Nibble Park only grows in the Guhmension, on dry, gently rolling land. There is always one within a good walk in land where nobody has been yet, and further out one every now and then. The Super Compass shows the way (tab Cozy).
The guh litter binDe guhprullenbak
Throw something into a guh litter bin (right-click with something in your hand) and it eats one of them: nyeg! Tools and other nice things it simply spits back out. You can craft them yourself too, just like the park bench and the guh lantern.
The duck pondDe eendenvijver
In the duck pond two guh ducks swim with a row of ducklings behind them. Give them bread, seeds or a cheese nibble: quack-nyeg! At the little jetty a rowboat always lies ready, even when someone else has just gone off in it.
The playgroundDe speeltuin
The Jolly Chonk Playground has a slide (climb the ladder and step in), two swings and a seesaw for two (right-click to sit down). You can dig in the sandbox: once a day you find a cheese nibble there. You can also craft or buy the slide, the swing and the seesaw, for a playground next to your own house.
The picnic meadowDe picknickweide
On the picnic meadow lie checked picnic blankets with tea and cushions. The Stall Guh behind his stall sells cheese nibbles, cookies, cake, picnic blankets, park benches and playground things. You pay with Wahoog Chonk.
The music gardenDe muziektuin
Between the flower beds and a little greenhouse stands the bandstand. Click the jukebox: the park's record box picks a record and the three guhs in the bandstand start to dance. Another click turns the music off again. Your own record is welcome too.
The Japanese gardenDe japanse tuin
A brook flows under a red arched bridge into a koi pond with Nibble Koi: koi in cheese nibble colors, a wink at Babbledale. Give them a cheese nibble or koi food and they jump out of the water with joy. Across the bridge lies a zen corner with raked sand, a toro and bamboo.
Granny Guh and the PigeonguhsOma-guh en de Duifguhtjes
On some spots Granny Guh sits on her bench feeding the Pigeonguhs: chubby grey little birds with a shiny green-purple neck and real guh eyes. Talk to her and you get a handful of breadcrumbs (once a day). Scatter them (right-click) and the Pigeonguhs come right over; hold your crumbs and they flutter around you. Coo!
Roekoe!
The lookout towerDe uitkijktoren
When a park has a lookout tower, it always stands on the highest spot of the park. A spiral staircase takes you to the top, and there stand two telescopes: right-click and you look far away, just like through a real spyglass. Sneak to look normally again.
The puppet theatreDe poppenkast
Click the stage of the puppet theatre and the show begins: a guh puts down his cheese nibble, a Mika wants to sneak off with it and the Guh Kids on the benches shout as loud as they can: BEHIND YOU! Luckily they share in the end.
The wishing treeDe wensboom
Rename a piece of paper on an anvil: that is your wish. Right-click the trunk of the wishing tree with it and your wish hangs on a little sign under a branch, for everyone to read. You may hang two per tree; sneak with an empty hand to take your own wishes down again.
The Mika benchHet Mika-bankje
There is a sign 'No Mikas allowed' next to it, but there is always a sulky Mika sitting on it. Come too close and he shoves you away (he never hurts). Give him a cheese nibble and he hops off happily; the next day he is back again.
